Two men arrested in connection with Sible Hedingham burglary where man was shot

Police investigating an aggravated burglary in Sible Hedingham have arrested two men.

The men, aged 27 and 23, and both from Sible Hedingham were arrested shortly after midnight today on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated burglary.

During the incident the victim was shot.

The arrested men have been taken to police stations in Braintree and Chelmsford for interview where they currently remain in custody.
