POLICE have tonight charged two men with the murder of banker Frank McGarahan.
POLICE have tonight charged two men with the murder of banker Frank McGarahan.
Tom Andrew Cowles, 21, and Ben Kevin Cowles, 20, of Beaumont Road, Costessey, are due to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court at 10am tomorrow.
Ben Cowles has also been charged with three counts of assault - one relating to an attack on a Lithuanian man the others relating to Mr McGarahan's brother and cousin.
Mr McGarahan was spending a quiet evening out with family and friends ahead of a family christening in Norwich on Sunday September 28.
He witnessed an assault whilst queuing for a taxi on Guildhall Hill, after which he sustained a fatal injury.
A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death was a bleed to the brain.
Officers are still very keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Both men have been remanded in custody.
