Two men attempted to burgle a house in Ipswich Road, Colchester this week.

Thieves tried to force open a rear door of the property sometime between 9am and 1.20pm on Monday March 23.

One suspect was wearing a light grey hoody with black stripes on the arms and the other a navy blue hoody.

Investigating officer Dc Pete Coley said: “I am asking anyone who saw these two men in the area around Ipswich Road to call me as their locations prior to and after the incident may be vital in identifying the offenders.”
