A two-vehicle crash in Lowestoft this morning ended up with traffic having to be diverted.
The incident took place at 7.20am at the Carlton Colville end of Beccles Road involving a Toyota Yaris and a Land Rover Freelander.
The Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene with crews from Gorleston and two from the Lowestoft South stations and diversions were set up along Hollow Grove Way and the A146.
They extracted one of the drivers from their vehicle who was taken to the James Paget Hospital, in Gorleston, by the East of England Ambulance Service.
The road was reopened at 9.30am.
