A woman was cut free from a car in central Frinton yesterday evening.
Fire crews from the town were sent to a two-vehicle crash in Connaught Avenue at 7.27pm.
The woman was trapped by her injuries, forcing firefighters to remove the roof of the car using specialist cutting equipment.
She was released by 8.20pm and left in the care of the ambulance service.
