EMERGENCY services were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Martlesham today.
The crash took place at 12.20pm at the roundabout near the park and ride facility on the A12.
Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the collision and were joined soon after by firefighters, who used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof of one of the vehicles.
One person was taken by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital.
