A spokesperson for Suffolk police said they were called at 4.50pm to incident near to the turning towards Snape.

There are not thought to be any injuries at the scene but one of the two cars was left in the middle of the road as a result of the accident.

It is not known when recovery vehicles will arrive at the scene.
