Police and firefighters were called to an Ipswich street last night to a car fire which was deemed suspicious.
The blaze broke out in Rope Walk at about 10.55pm – the fire damaged another vehicle by “radiated heat”, according to the fire service.
One crew from Princes Street was sent to the scene and firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire by 11.10pm.
A fire service spokesman said: “Police also attended due to the suspicious circumstances of the fire.”
