Over 700 visitors descended on Ufford last weekend for a celebration of art and community.
From the world’s smallest community art gallery, to the literature in the garden trail there was a wealth of art on offer to visitors who had arrived from across the county.
Yarn bombers had been out in force for days before the festival turning the village into a colourful, woolly wonderland.
A scarecrow competition produced a plethora of unusual designs including a scarecrow version of Mary Poppins who appeared to be gently gliding into the village.
Organiser Nick Crocker said: “The inaugural Ufford Arts Festival was a complete success!”
“The sun shone brightly all weekend and brought smiles to the faces of all those who attended, some from as far away as Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds.
“Those who were visiting the festival from outside there village were impressed with the scale and inclusiveness of the event and for those who are lucky enough to live in Ufford, it reinforced to them what a special place it is to call home.”
To finish off the event not one but two local groups – both Danegeld and Westrafeld – of Morris dancers took to the stage.
