Bows and arrows have been stolen from from a garden shed in Uggeshall.

Two bows as well as arrows for a bow of 64-inch minimum draw were stolen from the garden shed at a property in Church Road in the village last month.

Earlier this week police making house to house enquiries on another incident in the area were informed that two bows had been found in a ditch nearby on Friday, January 10. As the officer viewed the bows a woman walking past thought that they looked like two that she owned.

She checked and it was then discovered that the items had been taken from the shed. The burglary is believed to have occurred between 9pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday, December 17. The arrows are still missing.

If you know anything about this crime, have been offered the arrows or know where they are, or if you know who took them please call Southwold and Halesworth Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
