The A11 was closed for two-and-a-half hours after a five-vehicle crash at Barton Mills.
Police were called just before 7.30am to the road, Newmarket-bound. Some of the vehicles’ occupants received minor injuries in an incident described by police as a “shunt”.
The Highways Agency was called to clear up oil and fuel left on the road. A force spokesman said the road had reopened at 10am.
Emergency services have also been at the scene of a two vehicle collision on the A134 at Barnham, near Thetford, which blocked the road.
The crash happened at 8.10am and involved two cars. An ambulance was called, but no one needed treatment or transport to hospital.
