The A12 has reopened in Essex after a crash involving two luxury cars closed it for more than three hours during rush hour.
Essex Police were called to reports of a collision involving a green Daimler and silver Mercedes, which happened between Hatfield Peveral and Boreham, to the north of Chelmsford at about 4.30pm.
Motorists were advised to avoid the road, while vehicles were removed.
The road reopened at 7.40pm.
