Update: A120 re-opens following serious accident between Wix and Ramsey

Motorists were asked to avoid the A120 between Wix and Ramsey following a serious crash.
Fire crews from Dovercourt and Manningtree freed one person trapped inside an overturned car.
The road was blocked in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident by Ramsey roundabout.
Only one vehicle was involved in the crash, which happened at 3.10pm.
The road was re-opened by 4.45pm.
No-one was seriously injured in the crash.
