Update: A133 has been closed in both directions after four vehicle crash near Weeley

Three people have been taken to hospital after a four-car-collision on the A133 which the air ambulance was called to.
The fire service was called to the road near Weeley at around 12.40pm after the crash which caused two women to become trapped in one car.
Cutting equipment was used to release the casualties with another three treated as “walking wounded”.
Paramedic officer Steve Box said: “We worked closely with our colleagues in the emergency services to secure the scene and ensure that the casualties were treated as quickly as possible.
“Two women suffered multiple injuries to their neck, back and chests although their conditions were not thought to be serious. They, along with one walking wounded casualty were taken to Colchester General for further treatment.”
Three ambulances, a paramedic officer, the hazardous area response team and the Essex Air Ambulance were all dispatched to the scene.
Delays were reported between the B1033 Colchester Road, Weeley and the B1442, Little Clacton.
