A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital with suspected broken ribs following a crash in Bury St Edmunds this morning.
A white Ford Transit van and a motorbike collided in Oliver Road, Bury St Edmunds at 9.05am.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene of the crash, near the Westley Interchange.
The driver of the van and the biker both received treatment from ambulance crews and the biker was then taken to hospital with potential broken ribs.
Traffic was completely blocked on Newmarket Road because of the crash but the road was reopened by 10.27am.
