A 15-month-old girl who was cut free from a car which was in a collision with a lorry has been taken to a hospital in London with a head injury.
Paramedics have described the head injury as serious – she was taken to Royal London Whitechapel.
The incident happened at about 7.20pm on Thursday on the B1040 near Coggleshall – firefighters were called to the scene to cut the youngster free.
Another child, who was not trapped, was treated at the scene and also taken to hospital.
