Update: Dartford Crossing reopened in both directions

The Dartford Crossing has reopened in both directions after a security alert last night.

Police officer closed the crossing shortly after 4pm after it was reported a male pedestrian was behaving unusually.

Kent Police arrested the man and after a suspiscious item was found called in a bomb disposal team to check the area.
