A woman who was in distress at the Parkway multi-storey car park in Bury St Edmunds is now safe, police have said.
Officers responded immediately to reports of the woman being seen at 8.30am.
However by 9am police had successfully resolved the situation, a force spokesman said.
The woman is now safe and receiving medical assistance.
