FIREFIGHTERS were called out tonight to a fence blaze which set fire to nearby trees and put a 30ft container in danger.
The fence was initially thought to be at the back of a house in Kelly Road but turned out to be in London Road, Ipswich.
A crew from Princes Street went to the scene at around 9.10pm to find the fire had spread from the fence to a group of conifers and was getting close to a 30ft container.
They managed to get the flames under control using a hose reel and checked for any further hotspots with a thermal imaging camera.
