A broken down car which caused delays for commuters on the Orwell Bridge this morning has been removed amid warnings over poor visibility.
Police closed one lane on the A14 Orwell Bridge eastbound after the vehicle broke down at 6.20am today.
The lane reopened when the car was removed by officers at around 7.25am.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said a warning to motorists over poor visibility due to dense fog was still in place.
“Visibility is poor in that area and we are warning drivers to be very cautious this morning,” the force spokesman said.
