People heading to the Latitude Festival have been experiencing long delays after a four-vehicle accident.
Police got reports of the collision on the A12 in Stratford St Andrew just after 5pm on Thursday.
A force spokeswoman said the dual-carriageway was blocked in both directions and a lot traffic had been caught up in the congestion.
She added there had been no reported injuries to any of the occupants of the vehicles.
The carriageway was cleared at about 6.15pm but long delays are still being reported.
