Motorists are advised that the M11 northbound is now open following a collision between junctions seven (A414) and eight (Stansted Airport).
Emergency services dealt with an accident between a grey Citroen C5 estate and a grey Mitsubishi Shogun, one of which was in collision with a tree, which happened at about 11.30am today.
The motorway was closed to allow the air ambulance to land to take a casualty to hospital and for the vehicles to be recovered.
Essex Police thank motorists for their patience.
