A man involved in a single-car crash last night has died.
Police were called to the scene on the B1078 at Letheringham around 6.10pm yesterday after a Ford Fiesta left the road.
The vehicle then collided with a fence and ended up in a field. The road was closed in both directions by police following the crash with paramedics also attending.
A force spokesman later confirmed the driver, who was the only person in the car, died at the scene.
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Suffolk Constabulary on 101 and speak to Pc Jason Lambourne of the Serious Collision Investigation Team.
