A man has been charged with the attempted robbery of another man in Colchester.
A warrant was executed at an address in Timber Hill during the early hours of yesterday morning and three people were arrested.
The 24-year-old, from Colchester, was charged with attempting to rob a tax driver in Acacia Avenue on December 1. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before magistrates in Colchester tomorrow.
A 20-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, both from Colchester, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, have been bailed until December 18.
A 24-year-old man, from Colchester, who was arrested in relation to five armed robberies, has been bailed until February 16.
