One of the men arrested by Essex Police on suspicion of endangering an aircraft following an incident at Stansted Airport has now been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
The 57-year-old has to report back to police on Friday, September 27.
A 49-year-old man also arrested on suspicion of endangering an aircraft continues to be treated in hospital.
The men were arrested after a plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
The Sri Lankan Airlines A330 Airbus, which was carrying 267 passengers and crew, was due to land at Heathrow Airport after its journey from Columbo, but was diverted to the Essex airport just after 7.30pm on Friday.
