Update: Man named after fatal collision at Sainsbury’s petrol station in Bury St Edmunds

A man who died following a collision in Bury St Edmunds has been named as 83-year-old Raymond Pryke.

Officers were called to Sainsbury’s petrol station in Bedingfield Way by the East Anglian Ambulance Service at around 3.10pm on June 17 to reports of a collision involving a man in his eighties.

Mr Pryke, from Rowan Way in Thurston, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital, where he remained in a critical condition, and died yesterday.

A police spokeswoman asked any witnesses to the collision to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
