Update: Motorist in a serious condition after collision in Valley Road

A MOTORIST is in a serious condition after a two vehicle collision in Ipswich this morning.

Two people were injured in the collision in Valley Road at about 9.35am today – the road was closed off to traffic for about two hours.

Police, paramedics, the fire service and air ambulance were all dispatched to the incident, which involved a blue Toyota and a blue Ford Fiesta.

Two people were taken to Ipswich Hospital by land ambulance.

A spokesman for the East of England Air Ambulance said: “We believe that one person has sustained serious injuries.”
