Detectives have made a third arrest in connection with a stabbing in Chelmsford.

A 19-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested in Chelmsford this morning on suspicion of conspiring to commit murder and is in custody.

A man in his 20s was stabbed in the chest and stomach at Ravensbourne Drive shortly after 7pm on Tuesday. He is now out of hospital after spending time on life support and is expected to make a full recovery.

Teon Anderson 18, from St Michael’s Walk, Chelmsford has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

A 16-year-old boy from Chelmsford, who was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of conspiring to commit murder, has been bailed until July 14 pending further enquiries.
