Rail services between East Anglia and London are subject to delays, revisions and cancellations after a person was hit by a train at Ilford.
Greater Anglia reported this morning that all lines are blocked and that an estimation normal services will be resumed by 3pm.
Further delays were also affecting services between Colchester and Marks Tey, due to electrical supply problems.
The train operator said that Network Rail overhead line engineers worked “as fast as possible to resolve the problem” and services were said to have returned to normal by 10am.
