Update: Rail services from Ipswich to London returning to normal after issue with freight train on track

Trains between Ipswich and London Liverpool Street are returning to normal after an issue with a freight train this morning.

The first services affected was the 10am from Norwich to London Liverpool Street and the 10.52am Ipswich to London Liverpool Street trains.

The issue involved a freight train between Ipswich and London which left trains unable to depart towards London.

Services are estimated to return to normal from 12.30pm.
