Rail services between Ipswich and Saxmundham are now running as normal after a tree fell down across the line north of Wickham Market station.
Network Rail engineers cleared the obstacle by 12.15pm and all lines are now clear.
Abellion Greater Anglia provided a shuttle service between Saxmundham and Lowestoft and arranged a bus link between Saxmundham, Wickham Market, Woodbridge and Ipswich while the work was being carried out.
