Rail services to and from London Liverpool Street have returned to normal after Network Rail engineers fixed an earlier signal fault.
The fault was reported earlier this morning between Gidea Park and Romford, and left services being cancelled or delayed up to 20 minutes.
Engineers have now fixed the problem, with all lines now re-open.
Transport for London buses were accepting Greater Anglia tickets on routes 86 between Romford and Stratford, and 25 between Ilford and London.
Greater Anglia tickets were also being accepted on the Central and District London Undergound lines.
