Trains are now running again between Ipswich and Felixstowe.
Morning services between the two towns were cancelled after a signalling problem with replacement buses being laid on instead.
However Network Rail engineers have now fixed the problem allowing services to resume.
However there are likely to be residual delays because of the incident.
