Rail services between Ipswich and Needham Market are returning to normal after a vehicle struck a rail bridge between the two stations.
The incident has left all lines blocked with services unable to pass through the area currently.
Network Rail engineers have been notified and will carry out a safety inspection to ensure the bridge is structurally sound.
The first services affected were the 11.30am London Liverpool Street to Norwich train, 11.44am train from Cambridge to Ipswich and the 12.30pm Norwich to London Liverpool Street service.
Trains were running again as normal from around 2.15pm.
