An earlier signal problem between Ipswich and Manningtree has been resolved.

However the incident has left commuters facing delays this morning of up to 40 minutes.

Some trains are also being cancelled because of the problems.

And there may still be some delays between Ipswich and Stowmarket because of a passenger being taken ill on a train between the two stations earlier.

This is in addition to previously announced cancellations between Beccles and Lowestoft because of flood damage.
