DRIVERS are facing delays after a truck caught fire on the A14 blocking off one of the lanes.
The HGV blaze was reported just after 8.30am today and is partially blocking one lane of the westbound carriageway near junction 50 for Stowmarket.
Two fire crews from Stowmarket and Needham Market are on the scene, along with police officers to help manage traffic queues.
The HGV has been pulled onto the slip road and the driver’s cab separated from the trailer, but the nearside rear wheels of the unit are still well alight.
