A WOMAN’S body has been found during the search for a missing person in Clacton.
Natalie Piner was last seen by her husband at their home in Meredith Road on Saturday, December 8.
The 36-year-old woman left the house in a black Mercedes C180.
At 4.30pm today, police were contacted with reports that a woman’s body was inside a black Mercedes in a residential car park off Marine Parade East in the town.
Paramedics and officers attended and the woman was certified dead at the scene.
Natalie’s family has been notified of the news.
Although a formal identification process has yet to take place, police believe the body to be that of Mrs Piner.
The coroner’s processes will take place during the course of the next few days.
