Police have arrested a man in Blackhorse Lane
A woman found with head injuries at her home in west Suffolk suffered the wounds in a fall, police said today.
Officers in Newmarket were called to an address in Grosvenor Yard at around 7.10pm yesterday after a report that a woman in her 60s had a serious head injury.
She was taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.
A police spokeswoman said: “Following enquiries, taking a full account from the woman and Crime Scene Investigators visiting the home address, police are satisfied that the woman sustained the injuries after suffering from a fall.”
