Firefighters were called to Hadleigh to extinguish a van which caught alight.
One fire crew was sent to the Station Road area, close to Wilson Road, at 12.29pm today.
The UK Power Networks van was described as “well alight” by fire officers.
Police closed Wilson Road until the incident was cleared by 1.15pm.
A UK Power Networks spokesman said: “One of our vehicles caught fire in Wilson Road, Hadleigh, today.
“Thankfully nobody was hurt and the cause is being investigated.”
