A woman has been taken to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a van in a Suffolk town today.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash between a white Vauxhall van and a female pedestrian in The Thoroughfare, Woodbridge at around 4.10pm.
The woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital with a possible injury to her shoulder and ribs.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.11pm today to reports that someone had been hit by a van on The Thoroughfare (B1438) in Woodbridge.
“A rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and an ambulance crew were dispatched to help.
“A woman was assessed and treated at the scene for a possible injury to her shoulder and ribs.
“The patient was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”
Suffolk Constabulary also attended the incident in Woodbridge town centre.
