SUFFOLK'S roads have claimed their second victim within 24 hours after a van driver died when his vehicle came off the road at Snape, near Saxmundham.The 36-year-old was declared dead at the scene of the accident on the B1069 outside the Crown pub after the accident at 10.

SUFFOLK'S roads have claimed their second victim within 24 hours after a van driver died when his vehicle came off the road at Snape, near Saxmundham.

The 36-year-old was declared dead at the scene of the accident on the B1069 outside the Crown pub after the accident at 10.45pm on Saturday evening.

The vehicle hit the pub sign and several parked cars. The name of the victim is not being released until his next of kin have been informed.

The accident came on the same day that the driver of a car was killed when his vehicle was in collision with a lorry on the A1304 at Newmarket.
