FIREFIGHTERS were called out this morning after a van was found alight in Newmarket.

FIRE fighters were called out this morning after a van was found alight in Newmarket.

The van was reported ablaze in Parkers Walk at 5.21am and crews used specialist breathing equipment and a water hose to bring the fire under control.

The incident was over by 5.54am.
