The veteran performer, best known for tracks such as Bright Side of the Road, Have I Told You Lately? and Brown Eyed Girl, will play at High Lodge on June 9.
He joins Travis, James Morrison, The Feeling, Blondie and M People in signing up for The Forestry Commission's Forest Tour.
Peter Rawlinson, of the Forestry Commission, said: “It is a great privilege that we have secured a date with one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time.”
Tickets for the Van Morrison concert go on sale on Friday. They are priced £29.50 and can be bought by calling 01842 814612 or at www.forestry.gov.uk/music.
