Charity was the winner as dozens of people ended up wet and muddy after completing a challenging obstacle course in the Suffolk countryside.
The Insane Terrain event was held at Poplar Park, Hollesley, with people taking part raising money for a variety of good causes.
Organisers Insane Terrain Running also teamed up with children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent to offer a special reduced registration fee for those who wanted to raise money for the charity.
Competitors could take part in either a 5km or 10km course with a variety of obstacles to overcome – including clambering over walls, climbing through tunnels, crawling through water, and surviving the foam cannon.
Among those taking part were Brothers Rob and Martin Cornwell, along with their friend Andy O’Donnell – competing the challenge wearing giant nappies.
The trio were raising money for the neo-natal unit at Ipswich Hospital as a thank you for saving the life of Martin’s year-old baby boy Charlie. They have already raised £660 and are aiming to top £1,000.
Martin, of Felixstowe, said: “It was quite mucky – we were covered from head to toe! We really enjoyed it and we did 10km.”

Martin’s wife Kerry was 29 weeks pregnant when she gave birth to Charlie on May 1 last year. He was just 2lb and 15oz.
After 50 days in Ipswich Hospital Charlie pulled through and was fit enough to go home and is now in full health.
The team have already done the eight-mile Gladi8tor at Thetford Forest, and in July will be on a 10k run at Jimmy’s Farm, and possibly another event later in the year.
