A GROUP of Zulu warriors have visited a garden centre to perform African music and traditional Christmas carols for visitors.
Members from the Ithemba Zulu Nation, who originate from the Kingdom of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa, were performing at the Wyevale Garden Centre in Woodbridge on Saturday afternoon.
There was an in-store collection after the performance, with all money collected to help the KwaZulu Natal community.
John Curtin, tour director, said: “The troupe gave a stunning introduction to Zulu culture for visitors at the garden centre, through a selection of songs, dances and folklore tales.
“The harmony of the group accompanied by the vibrancy of the drumming provide an unforgettable experience for all who watch them, whether children or adults.”
Santa was also in his grotto during the weekend at the centre in Grundisburgh Road, providing a traditional festive flavour.
