THE alarming rate of coastal erosion can be seen in aerial photographer Mike Page’s latest video of the East Anglia coast.

Last month, Mr Page shared video footage filmed as he flew over the coast from Easton Bavents to Kessingland via YouTube. This was followed by footage from Great Yarmouth outer harbour to Winterton.

And now, he has shared his high-quality film showing the coastline from Winterton to Happiburgh.

The video takes in the wide open beach and the open fields of rural East Anglia but highlights just how precarious the coast is in parts as the beach narrows suddenly in certain areas.

In some spots, groins point out into the sea, protecting the precious narrow strip of sand. But how long can they protect the land beyond from the power of the sea?
