Incident on rail tracks near the rail crossing in Great Blakenham
British Transport Police has revealed a man who died after being hit by a train yesterday was aged 58 and from Claydon.
The force is not treating the death as suspicious, and his family have been informed.
A file will now be prepared for the coroner.
The incident happened at Great Blakenham at about 11.15am.
Paramedics and the air ambulance were called but the man was declared dead at the scene.
