The Mayor of St Edmundsbury, Robert Everitt, could be seen dashing around the Tesco superstore in Bury St Edmunds today.

But he was not stocking up on food for himself, instead he was supporting Tesco’s food collection initiative which helps those in need. He had about three minutes to dash around the store, collecting non-perishable items. He said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to promote such a worthy cause. I was happy to gather up as much food as possible in the time allocated.”
