Concern was mounting for a man from Haverhill who had not been seen for three weeks.

Andrew Nixon, 41, has been located by police and returned to his family thanks to a public appeal launched yesterday evening.

He was reported missing from his home in Haverhill on Thursday, August 2, and police were concerned for his safety.

A spokesperson for Suffolk police said: “As a result of the press release Andrew has been found safe and well and now returned home to family. Police would like to thank the media and public with this matter.”
