Firefighters had to rescue a woman who was trapped in her car which had overturned and ended up in a garden.
The accident happened in Walton Road, Walton on the Naze, and two fire crews from Frinton were sent to the scene at 10.15pm yesterday.
Special cutting equipment was used to release the woman from the damaged car. Firefighters worked alongside ambulance paramedics during the operation.
Police units were also called to Walton Road to help deal with traffic.
